“ First time here and it happened to be a Friday and an Oiler night at happy hour. We sat at the bar and the tender was young but excellent at her job. We tried a couple menu items and were very happy with it all. Plus the Stella was cold and my wife's Ceasar was spiced just right. My wife got called away and the longer I sat there, the more I felt like an outsider. The regulars had surrounded me and began talking/shouting across the bar to each other. I found myself waiting for the door to open and everyone to yell "Norm"!!!! But that's ok. I was in a neighborhood bar - sadly not my neighborhood; I was enjoying the last of my waffle-fry-nachos (so good) and paying my bill soon anyway. Then my stool would fill with more friendly faces and they would cheer on the game. I left here wishing I could stay longer, and wished even more that I had a small place like this to call home (again). Long story short - go in and enjoy everything this little place has to offer, just sit at a table off to the side during happy hour or act like a local.... ”
“ Best burgers anywhere! Fresh hand packed patties made from scratch. Always perfectly cooked with a perfect char. Top quality ingredients. We drive from the other end of the city just for these burgers. When i'm out of town working for months, this is the first place i go to eat when i get home. ”

Definitely going back because there’s more from the menu i want to try :) The atmosphere was dreary and bleh, but we went during lunch on a Tuesday, and this is a bistro so it might feel differently during evenings and weekends. Our waitress was so nice, she was the only one we saw taking all five tables (all of us had 2 and 4s) all by herself and still made us feel wanted, not like she was ignoring us at all. ”
